A 45-Week Interactive Online Program

Begins September 17, 2018

 

UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the UC Veterinary Medical Center-San Diego, the Ohio State University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of Bern, Tufts University, and Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC is offering this Advanced Certification Program on Extracorporeal Therapies—the Hemodialysis Academy.  The Hemodialysis Academy will provide:

  • Worldwide access to a modular, web-based, intensive curriculum
  • Live lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays and extracorporeal rounds/discussions on Fridays
  • Sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend all lectures in real-time
  • Instruction on the principles & applications of intermittent hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, peritoneal dialysis, hemoperfusion, and therapeutic apheresis
  • Instruction on the conventional management of CKD and AKI
  • This program features renowned instructors including:

Previous students of the program have successfully started their own extracorporeal service.  Practitioners who already are performing extracorporeal treatments will gain more insight, increase the proficiency of the services already offered, and will acquire new skills and therapeutic approaches.

DVM = $3,000
