The International Renal Interest Society (IRIS) is pleased to invite applications for membership on the IRIS Board.
IRIS is an independent, international organization whose objectives are to advance veterinary nephrology and to help veterinary practitioners better diagnose, understand and treat kidney disease in cats and dogs.
The successful candidate(s) will be expected to
- be a graduate of a School or College of Veterinary Medicine.
- have documented expertise in the discipline and a demonstrated and continuing interest in the advancement of veterinary nephrology.
- participate in all online and the annual Board meetings.
- actively contribute to, and support, IRIS initiatives.
Applications, including curriculum vitae and a letter (no more than 500 words) outlining how your expertise and vision would contribute to the objectives of IRIS, must be submitted electronically to the current IRIS President, Dr. Claudio Brovida (firstname.lastname@example.org), by August 15, 2016.
The IRIS Board will review all applications received by the deadline at its annual meeting in Goteborg, Sweden in September 2016 with the intention of selecting two replacement Board members.
